boncrop at the DLG Field Days – experience practical solutions first-hand

Once again this year, the boncrop brand will be represented at the DLG Field Days. At trial field VD31, we will be presenting innovative solutions for sustainable crop production. The stand attracted a large number of interested visitors as early as 2024 – with lively exchanges and many high-quality technical discussions based on real-world experience.

Visitors can look forward to exciting insights again this year: the focus is on tried-and-tested products and concepts relating to biostimulants. The boncrop team will be on hand for personal discussions and will demonstrate how current challenges in crop production can be tackled in a targeted and efficient manner.

Anyone interested in well-founded solutions, fresh ideas and direct exchange with experts should definitely plan a visit to the Schaumann Group stand. The boncrop team looks forward to interesting conversations and an in-depth technical dialogue at the DLG Field Days.

Visit us at DLG Field Days in Bernburg from 16.06.2026 to 18.06.2026.

The benefits of boncrop – let us show you!

Back again – our raised beds. In 2026, we’ll once again be showing you just how well crops thrive when used in combination with boncrop biostimulants. In our raised beds, we’ve planted and sown rapeseed, potatoes, barley, sugar beet, sunflowers and peas for you to see. Come and see for yourself the positive effect boncrop has on crop development.

Significant growth spurt within a week

Whilst the crops were still emerging hesitantly in calendar week 20 due to cool and dry conditions, warm weather and rainfall in calendar week 21 have led to visible progress. The stands are developing much more uniformly and the individual plants are visibly gaining leaf mass. Initial cultivation steps such as thinning and transplanting have already been carried out.

“The crop has developed significantly within a few days. The plants have now emerged evenly and have been thinned out and transplanted,” explains the product managerSebastian Büning.

Corn shows rapid early growth

The corn planted in the test plot is also currently showing very rapid growth. Within just a few days, a clearly visible growth spurt has set in: The plants have emerged quickly and already appear much more uniform and vigorous within the stand.

A comparison of the two images illustrates this development particularly clearly: While the corn in the left image is still very small and in an early stage, the image on the right, taken just three days later, shows a significantly more advanced stage of development with more robust plants.

The variants treated with boncrop benefit from improved starting conditions. Supported early development promotes rapid establishment of the plants and ensures more uniform stand development.

The current stage of development highlights just how crucial a good start is for corn. Further observations in the field will show how this advantage continues throughout the growing season.

Raised beds are developing visibly uniformly and vigorously

The crops in the raised beds are currently showing very positive development. The stands appear uniform, vigorous, and have well-developed foliage. The photo illustrates this stage of development: The plants are dense and uniform, different crops are clearly established, and are showing steady growth.

The weather conditions of the past few days—initially warm and dry, followed by overcast skies with intermittent rainfall—provided generally favorable, though not extreme, growing conditions. Under these conditions, the stands treated with boncrop can demonstrate their strengths: uniform early development and stable establishment help them make efficient use of the available conditions.

The development in the raised beds thus demonstrates in a practical way how boncrop biostimulants can support crops, especially in early stages of development.
