Controlled trial boncrop flow in the sunflower
The test results prove that boncrop flow measurably improves both the quality (oil content) and the quantity (grain yield) of sunflowers. boncrop flow thus offers an effective solution for farmers who want to optimize their yield while increasing the added value of their harvest.
- The oil content in the dry matter was significantly increased through the use of boncrop flow. Compared to the untreated control, the variant treated with boncrop achieved an increase of around 5%. A higher oil content is a decisive quality factor in sunflower production and has a direct impact on economic returns.
- There was also a clear advantage in grain yield. With boncrop flow, 4.26 t/ha (at 12% moisture) was achieved. This corresponds to an increase of 9% compared to the untreated control. The higher grain yield underlines the performance-enhancing effect of boncrop flow on plant growth and nutrient efficiency.
Perfect timing and quantity
We recommend two treatments with boncrop flow in sunflowers.
The earliest treatment should be from the 2nd to 3rd, preferably from the 4th pair of leaves, and the follow-up treatment after approx. 21 days.
- Recommended application rate: 2 l/ha
- 1st treatment with 2 l/ha from BBCH 14 (vegetative phase of leaf development). Promotes rapid early development and accelerates row closure.
- 2nd treatment with 2 l/ha after approx. 21 days. Optimal crop development and preparation for flowering and yield formation.
